WATER UPDATE

We are busy cleaning up the mess from the storm as I am sure most of you are as well. We have more work to do this afternoon and tomorrow.

Tentative plan at this stage is to have Stock Water back up and running through the intake by later this afternoon.
Tomorrow we will be working to achieve Irrigation Water for delivery on Sunday.

We will keep you posted if anything changes.

The Waimakariri Irrigation Ltd Scheme is a shareholder-owned cooperative company with consent to take water 11.041 cumecs from the Waimakariri River. Water is drawn from the Waimakariri River at Browns Rock for distribution through 1,100 kilometres of open race channels to supply around 200 shareholders. The Scheme supplies farms covering approximately 30,000 ha within an overall area of 78,000 ha and is located between the Waimakariri and the Ashley Rivers and between Oxford and Rangiora townships.
