RIVER UPDATE

This message is recorded at mid-morning Monday 9th December 2019.

Taylors Contracting plan to have a larger excavator onsite mid afternoon today that has greater track clearance so we can operate in deeper water. Due to the size of the machine and issues with transport we have opted for a 55t machine in order to make establishment quicker. We still have a few issues we are working through to get the machine to site.

Please review your water orders on the Water Metrics System by the 3pm cut off today. If we are successful, we hope to be confirming your water orders through the Water Metrics System later this evening.

A further 100mm of rain has fallen in the catchment yesterday and the river is currently flowing at around 420 cumecs at the Otarama recorder.

Please be re-assured we are doing all we can, but further delays could result if we are not successful in executing our plan today.
