Browns Rock Intake Re-Opened

The intake was re-opened this afternoon. Stock water should be flowing throughout majority of the scheme by tomorrow morning, the farthest reaches may take till the end of tomorrow.

Irrigation water orders will be confirmed for water delivery tomorrow.

Please note there may be temporary disruptions in the next few days to irrigation water if we need to excavate more shingle from the intake. This will depend on how quickly the river drops.

Irrigators, please remember to review and manage your water orders as required in water metrics.

Today’s water was cancelled by WIL due to river flooding.

Active and reoccurring water orders will be confirmed shortly.
