Starting today Irrigators requiring water please place water orders through the Water Metrics water ordering application. Cut off time is 3pm daily.
Water delivery will commence on Friday.

Please login to Water Metrics to ensure your water ordering portal is working for your water takes, if you are having technical issues, please email support@watermetrics.co.nz or contact one of the WIL Staff.

The Waimakariri Irrigation Ltd Scheme is a shareholder-owned cooperative company with consent to take water 11.041 cumecs from the Waimakariri River. Water is drawn from the Waimakariri River at Browns Rock for distribution through 1,100 kilometres of open race channels to supply around 200 shareholders. The Scheme supplies farms covering approximately 30,000 ha within an overall area of 78,000 ha and is located between the Waimakariri and the Ashley Rivers and between Oxford and Rangiora townships.
