BROWNS ROCK INTAKE RE-OPENED FOR STOCKWATER ONLY

The intake was re-opened at 9.30am today. Stock water should be flowing throughout the majority of the scheme by tomorrow morning; the farthest reaches may take till later in the day tomorrow.
A significant weather event is due to hit tomorrow morning with more rain in the catchment and strong damaging winds. It would be advisable to take heed of the weather warnings for winds and safeguard your irrigators as best you can.
